The tour was fantastic. It was very enjoyable to hear local history, see unbelievable architecture, and get close to amazing art (stained glass, statues, and more). The guide, Michelle, was very well informed, gracious, and enthusiastic. What a good experience!

First I apologize if this shows up twice. My phone glitched. My family and I want to thank Michael Ashe for all of his help. Mike went above and beyond for us. He was patient, supportive and kind throughout the entire process despite all of the ups and downs and twists and turns. We really can’t thank him enough. He was such a blessing to us and I know we probably took up a lot of his time. Thank you so much Mike! You made a difficult time a lot easier. Thank you as well to the entire staff at Wilhelm’s.

Funeral arrangements are difficult at the best of times. We met with Laura at Wilhelm's expecting to get the up-sale on costs. To our pleasant surprise Laura was not on an up-sale assignment and was quite professional and accommodating. We found the experience with Wilhelm's to be very upfront and professional and were quite satisfied with the service we received. Laura was very helpful and we would recommend her as your funeral director if you have a choice.

Dear Wilhelm's Portland Memorial Funeral Home Staff,
Thank you for sending the beautiful hydrangea plant in memory of Dad. It is just lovely. Thanks to our funeral director. He was so calm and helpful. We are so thankful for helping us to set up a light luncheon. Everyone commented about the variety and quality.
Probably the part I was most proud of was the name Wilhelm's in front of Portland Memorial. This is truly wonderful and I know Dad felt the same way.
Again, we thank you for everything.

We want to express our sincere appreciation for your compassion and professionalism in managing our son's burial arrangements. The devastating loss of our dear son forced us on a painful journey of grief and funeral planning that no parent should have to do.
While we have had plenty of exposure to funerals over our lifetime, we knew that our son's burial site needed to be special and unique. We definitely found that in Wilhelm's Portland Memorial with the beautiful setting and peaceful grounds in the cremation garden.
We also found the kindest person ever to help our family with this most difficult process. There are just no words that seem adequately to tell how grateful we are to you. From the very first moment we met you, through all of the planning and to this day, you have been wonderful. You took such care with us showing genuine concern while being attentive and thorough with all of the many details. All of this was done by taking the necessary time we needed without rushing us. You exceeded our expectations and we are forever grateful for all you did for us with the arrangements, the photos, the guitar… on and on. Throughout this overwhelming life event, you provided exceptional services with the utmost sincerity. Please accept our heartfelt thanks to you always.
Sincerely, Danny & Patty
